The City of Runaway Bay, an active and growing rural community in North/West Wise County, is seeking a team player to join our public works department. The public works technician II; performs various duties and operates equipment in the maintenance, repair and construction of the City water/wastewater system, including repairing and removing line stoppages. Public Works Technician I; performs routine and repetitive physical strenuous tasks such as: cutting brush, trees; mowing and weed-eating high grass and weeds; and maintaining, cleaning around street intersections, medians, alleys; and repairing streets. High School Diploma or General Education Degree and valid Texas Class C Driver’s License required.
