The City of Runaway Bay, an active and growing rural community in North/West Wise County, is seeking a team player to join are public works department. The public works technician 1; performs various duties and operates equipment in the maintenance, repair and construction of the City water/sewer system, including repairing and removing line stoppages. Performs routine and repetitive physical strenuous tasks such as: cutting brush, trees; mowing and weed-eating high grass and weeds; and maintaining, cleaning around street intersections, medians, alleys; and repairing street. High School Diploma or General Education Degree and valid Texas Class C Driver’s License required. Pay range for this position is $12.25 to $14.25 per hour, (DOQ) with full benefits.
